Spider-Folk

There’s a new Spider-Man in town. His name is Miles Morales. He’s a high school student who is bitten by a radioactive spider and thrown into a life of secrets and lies. With the weight of the world on his shoulders, Miles feels overwhelmed and alone. Then he begins to meet spider-beings who have been pulled into his world from other universes. One of these is Peter Parker, a Spider-Man who Miles thinks is already dead. Parker mentors him, and with help from their fellow spider-beings, they work to save Miles’s world. Miles then helps his new friends get back home. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters on December 14.

SHAMEIK MOORE is the voice actor behind Miles Morales. He talked to TFK Kid Reporter Alana Cho. “There are different cultures behind each spider-person. There are different variations of who or what Spider-Man is,” he says. “The film shows that with great power comes great responsibility, but also that anyone can wear the mask.”
