How To Implement Your Hot Job in Your Classroom
Whether it's a quick activity or a deeper integration, Your Hot Job is designed to work with your schedule, your curriculum, and your students' needs.

- Plug into existing curriculum. Drop in a single article, video, or Power Skills Course to enhance units in ELA, social studies, STEM, AVID, advisory, or SEL.
- Run a full Career Exploration Unit. Use our Unit of Study to build a sequenced experience around motivation, strengths, skills, and future planning.
- Make the most of Career Day. Have students explore industries and power skills before, during, or after your school's Career Day so they can ask better questions and reflect on what they learned.
- Extend learning beyond school. Take advantage of built-in home-to-school connections and “beyond the classroom” activities to keep career conversations going with families and caregivers.

How Teachers Are Using Your Hot Job
- We use Hot Jobs to create an elective class about Career Exploration for 5th and 6th grade students. It was a success, parents and students loved the content.
- This is the best tool for my IEP students' transition planning!
- I like using it when a period gets cancelled and I have to cover a class but don't have plans available, it is a good thing for me to do with my students as an impromptu lesson.
- In addition to including the program in my weekly lessons, the program came in clutch when a few of my career day presenters did not show up.
